Maximiliano Schonfeld's Germania (Argentina - 2012) is a coming of age story set in rural Argentina where a German decent family try to leave their farm and relocate. As they saying their goodbyes and ponder to their uncertain future, the reason for their departure starts to emerge. The end of adolescence, sexual desire, a cracked notion of family, and class relations are some of the issues the film unfolds without raising its voice or telling us what to think or feel. RATING ***
