2012 Buenos Aires International Festival of Independent Film Winners

Nadav Lapid's Policemen (Israel, 2011), story of a clash between Israeli Anti Terrorist Forces and Israeli leftie youth who fight for the palestinian cause, won Best Film and Best Director in the 15 title International Competition.
Celine Sciamma's Tomboy (France - 2011) The tale of a girl who changes her identity won Best Actress and Audience Award.
Gabriel Medina's The Vampire Spider about father and son difficult relationship won Best Actor (Martin Piroyansky) and Best Argentine Film.
Maximiliano Schonfeld's Germania about German family in Argentina who try to relocate back home won Special Jury Prize
In the 14 strong competition for Argentine features
Gaston Solnicki's Papirosen won Best Film.
Luis Ortega's Dromomanos / Roamers won Best Director
Jose Luis Garcia's The Girk from The South won Special Jury Prize and Audience Award
Fernando Gatti's Igual Si Llueve won Best Cinematography
