Golden Slumbers

Davy Chou's Golden Slumbers was premiered at the 2012 Berlin Film Festival - Forum. The docs take a look at the golden age of Cambodian cinema between 1960 -1974 as they produce 600 titles and it's downfall in the aftermath of the civil war. The filmmaker use found footage and interviews with surviving filmmakers of the era where most of them were beheaded by the communist regime as they were labeled Enemy of The People.  Official Selection 2012 San Francisco International Film Festival.
